Senior Associate, New Business

Markstein is seeking a marketing professional with 5 to 7 years of experience, at least 3 of which is in account management, to support our new business and associated marketing activities. The candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable working on a team within a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment, and who possesses an understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies, as well as agency new business process. Agency experience strongly preferred.


  • 3 to 5 years of account management experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
  • Comfortable manipulating documents using Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign and/or InCopy
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Sales Force administration and Google Analytics
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Self-motivated go-getter with a positive attitude
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and organization
  • Deadline-oriented and shows initiative in taking on new tasks and projects
  • Is able to seek out information and solutions to problems
  • Possesses a creative mentality
  • Serves as an active team player who demonstrates a commitment to excellence


  • Assist in the research and preparation for new business proposals and pitches
  • Develop pitch decks and other presentation materials
  • Support the development of marketing strategies and creative approaches to execution
  • Draft content to support sales
