About The Project

Following the merger of Cahaba Riverkeeper and Cahaba River Society, the newly formed organization needed a unified brand identity that reflects its mission, resonates with stakeholders, and positions it for future growth and impact.

Markstein conducted brand and competitive research to inform the development of a new visual identity, presenting multiple logo concepts aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. After refinement, we created a comprehensive brand system, including a logo usage guide, color palette, typography, and visual standards to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Successfully launched a cohesive and meaningful brand identity that unifies the organization’s voice and mission, providing a strong foundation for future communications, stakeholder engagement, and conservation efforts.
