Mountain Brook Schools

Driving support for a critical school funding initiative

About The Project

Mountain Brook City Schools needed to build public support for a property tax increase to generate an additional $6 million annually for the school system.

Markstein developed and implemented a strategic public information campaign, using targeted messaging and compelling creative to clearly communicate the need, impact, and community benefits of the proposed tax increase.

The campaign successfully drove voter support, resulting in the passage of the tax increase and securing critical funding for the school system.
