About The Project

The Rheumatology Research Foundation (RRF) is the largest private funding source for rheumatology research and training in the United States and partnered with Markstein to help raise awareness and general understanding from a patient and caregiver’s perspective 

Markstein developed and executed a multi-tiered, comprehensive marketing and communications strategy designed to increase awareness of the Foundation and humanize its efforts. We helped the Foundation launch the RheumLab, a patient-centered platform featuring various rheumatology resources, including complex research from some of the world’s leading rheumatology researchers in a digestible format. The platform also features video interviews with rheumatology professionals sharing insights and personal stories and highlights the Foundation’s #RheumChampions, a program that amplifies the voices of rheumatology patients. 

By learning about these projects and the Foundation’s ongoing efforts, patients can better understand how researchers are creating a better tomorrow for those living with a rheumatic disease.
