A seasoned agency leader, Keelie Segars brings operational and marketing communications expertise to Markstein. She has worked with clients including Mohawk Flooring, Encompass Health, Char-Broil and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to turn business challenges and goals into strategies and demonstrate return on investment.
As a member of the Markstein leadership team, Keelie marries account management with team mentoring to support clients and team members with creative problem solving, process refinement and services development. She also engages in large-scale client work, which included assisting the national rebranding of HealthSouth to Encompass Health at both the local and national levels.
Prior to joining Markstein, Keelie worked with clients to develop and implement fully integrated advertising and marketing campaigns. Keelie launched the social channels and defined the social brand voice for Krispy Kreme doughnuts in a multi-tiered program for both corporate and franchisees. Her work on Mohawk Flooring’s SmartStrand challenge, which sold more than 50 million yards of SmartStrand carpeting, creating a nine-month product back order, was recognized as a finalist by The Cannes Festival of Creativity.
Keelie holds a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham Southern College with a double major in history and economics. She also completed a course of study at the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Keble College, Oxford University and has a certificate in human resources from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
