Because of Markstein’s unique understanding of workforce communications with correctional agencies, the former Association of State Correctional Administrators engaged Markstein to rebrand its organization while also sharing best practices for recruitment with its members.
Solution
Markstein led a comprehensive branding process that incorporated broad-based input from association leadership and stakeholders. This work included renaming the organization, developing a new visual identity and aligning the brand with the evolving needs of correctional leaders nationwide.
Results
Markstein successfully reintroduced the organization as the Correctional Leaders Association (CLA), supported by a modern visual identity designed to strengthen relevance and engagement across the field. Following this work, Markstein received formal support from CLA leadership recognizing the firm as a sole source provider for corrections and law enforcement communications.
