International Women’s Media Foundation

To support the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) mission of supporting female journalists around the world and advancing a free press, we created compelling content and high-profile programs and reports. Markstein showcased its African Great Lakes Reporting Initiative annual report. This program supports journalists pursue stories beyond the well-established narratives of political instability, armed conflicts and humanitarian crises in the region. Our work helped to raise the IWMF’s profile with donors, policy makers and the journalism community.
