On U.S. soil for the first time since The World Games’ inception 40 years ago, The World Games 2022 will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, home to some of the most ardent sports fans in the world. Markstein served as the communications partner for The World Games 2022, coordinating all earned media efforts. Educating sports fans about the new generation of sports through widespread publicity efforts, supporting communication efforts with the International Federations and planning the media operations for the Games are only some of the activities undertaken by Markstein.
